Automatic Switching Switchboard (ATS)

Genset Components' ATS electrical panels are fitted with a DSE 334 type control unit which detects when there is a mains failure and sends a start signal to the generator set control unit.

Once started and ready, the DSE334 control unit of the electrical panel manoeuvres to allow the changeover of the electrical supply (which feeds the load of an installation) between the mains and the generating set and vice versa when the mains is re-established.

The switchgear consists of two motorised contactors or selectors fitted with mechanical and electrical interlocking.

This switchboard is applicable to any generating set equipped with any remote control or signal start control unit.

Characteristics:

Electric panel in metal cabinet with IP-67 protection degree.
Two motorised contactors or selectors (depending on the electrical panel model), fitted with mechanical and electrical interlocking, which prevents both from being closed simultaneously, thus avoiding possible short-circuit situations.
Protection fuses.
Terminal block for the control and manoeuvre of the generating set.
Terminals for connecting the generator set input power cables, mains input and load output.
Connection wiring for all the electrical elements of the switchboard. Each cable identified with its reference number at each end for easy installation and configuration.
Battery charger.
Transformers
Emergency stop button.
Contact key (for power supply to the control panel).
